i know im a girl and im only 14 and all but there is a light level sensor built into the LCM which will make the dashboard lights dimmer in high quantities of light and make them brighter in the dark. there is a little dot just above your light switch knob which is the sensor. i don't actually think you can adjust them though

If you know where to change the odometer/tripmeter display... Instead of pushing that control, turn it counter-/clockwise to dim/brighten the dash lights.
You turn the trip odometer button on the dash.
you most likely have a short somewhere in your wiring

They don't. You should should check and probably replace the bulbs. Refer to your owner's manual
What kind of auto is it. Sounds like you may have an ignition switch problem.

The car will not start after driving for a period of time. The lights are very dim while the engine is running and get darker , or the battery light is on in the dashboard.
