On most vauxhalls the secondary alarm unit is located behind the wheel arch liner on the nsf wheel well toward the rear of the front wing, on the frontera b it is held onto body with a metal frame unbolt frame (2 bolts) remove, enough to disconnect wiring, these alarm horn/sender units have internal back up batteries which around 5 years fail and causes false activations. removal of this unit still allows the immobilizer to function along with the primary alarm. hope this helps
you cant the imobiliser is programmed in the ecu, take it to a vaux dealer
To fit the speedo cable on a Vauxhall Frontera, first, ensure the vehicle is safely lifted and secured. Remove the speedometer from the dashboard to access the cable connection. Then, disconnect the old cable from the transmission and replace it with the new one, ensuring it's properly seated at both ends. Finally, reattach the speedometer and check for proper operation.

My vectra is a 1999 S plate and has a factory fitted immobilizer, I think that alarm/ immobilisers were fitted as standard the year after mine.

If it was easy to remove or disable it would not be much good as an alarm would it? Think about it. An alarm that can be removed is like a lock that can be picked.
I am researching this myself due to a faulty alarm that keeps me from starting my own car. As soon as I get the answer I'll pass it along.
you need a turbo first!!
This vehicle has a timing chain fitted.
yes yes
The factory fitted alarm on a 2003 Corolla will not arm if the wires have been cut to the alarm. If the vehicle was purchased used, this is a good possibility.
All Vauxhall cars have (in the UK) had an immobilizer fitted since 1996.
