It is usually under roadside emergency section. Answer First of all let us assume that you wish to find the fuse because the fuse has blown! A good place to start is the owner's manual, this very often has a picture/diagram of the fuse box indicating which fuses are which. If this is missing, or it does not contain the relevant information then the next step is to remove the fuse box cover, sometimes this will have an indication of what each fuse does. If there is no information on the fuse box cover, have a good look around the actual fuses, sometimes the information can be here. Failing that, have a look in the area around the fuse box, there may be some information on a sticker. If there is no information available from any source, you may be able to do a visual inspection. There are several different types of fuses, the old fashion type, which is basically a tube of glass with a piece of wire running through it, you can usually see if one of these is blown, the wire will be missing, or have a section missing from it. Sometimes the glass looks cloudy. A modern alternative is a plastic blade fuse, sometimes the wire element is encased within the plastic, sometimes it is exposed. The same for this, inspect it to see if the wire is continuous or broken. If you cannot perform a visual inspection for some reason, then you will need to follow a process of elimination to identify which fuse is which. To do this, switch on all of the electrical items for the vehicle and remove fuses in turn, it is a good idea to make a little drawing to identify the fuse position and what it does. Whilst you have the fuse removed, you may be able to perform a visual inspection (see above). Please note that some types of radios will need resetting if you interrupt the power supply by removing the fuse. Make sure you have the necessary information available to reset the radio. If you have an ultra modern car, it may have a computer, an alarm or other sophisticated electronic equipment. I would strongly advise you to get an owner's manual and read that before disconnecting any power supplies (removing fuses). It is very important that you replace the fuse you have removed back in the exact same socket that you removed it from. I point this out because some fuse boxes have empty positions, and it is very easy to incorrectly place your fuse back in one of those. If you place the wrong value fuse in the wrong position, then you could inadvertently damage your electrical system. A fuse is designed to blow if the electrical system draws too much current for some reason. If you were to replace a 10 Amp fuse with a 20 Amp fuse or any other higher value then in some circumstances your electrical system could catch fire. If this happened, any insurance or warranty on your vehicle would most likely be void, meaning that your losses could be considerable. Let alone the possibility of causing injury or death. Once you have identified the blown fuse replace it with one of the correct value. If you are continually having problems with a fuse blowing, then it may be that the wrong fuse has been introduced at some stage. If you suspect this, check the information (if available) otherwise you may try contacting the manufacturer to find out what the correct value fuse should be. Answer It may not be a fuse. After trying the fuse, if the wipers are still not working, check out the relay, the switch.. it could even be the windshield motor. This is not a lot of fun to replace.. but it can be done.
