To fit a ball joint on a Renault Megane, first, lift the vehicle and secure it on jack stands. Remove the wheel, then disconnect the tie rod end and any components obstructing access to the ball joint. Use a ball joint separator to detach the old joint from the control arm, and install the new ball joint by pressing it into place, ensuring it’s properly seated. Finally, reassemble the components in reverse order, torqueing all bolts to the manufacturer's specifications.
