What you need to do is fill the fuel pump up with diesel and then start it. that avoids these stupid vauxhalls to get airlock.
however, now you got to fill the fuel pump with diesel and then tow it and then bump start it. that will allow the vehicle to unair-lock.

New fuel filter. Clean EGR valve and clean intercooler and pipes. Add injector cleaner to fuel and also fuel enhancer additive.
The fuel filter is located at the rear underside held in by a bracket a 10mm spanner or socket will be needed to remove the bracket. The fuel pipes are normally push fit but be careful they can easily be damaged if forced.
Let the air into the intake......

Remove the trunking for the air intake,on the right hand side of the engine.The fuel filter can then be seen on the side of the engine at the top.Pul the clip to release it and you can lift it up,the carefully disconnect the pipes and sensors,remove the old one and refit all pipes and sensors.Now open the bleed screw on the top of the filter and prime it with the primer just in front of the air filter housing,when the fuel comes through with out bubbles tighten the bleed screw as you keep psessure on the primer,check all pipes are fitting tight and start engine
5 inch straight pipes with no catylatic converters. If it is a diesel, DPF delete and 6 inch straight pipes.

Under the car, offside in front of the back wheel. take the pipes off the filter and fit new one. Make sure you decompresurise the tank by removing the ignition key for 20 mins, and open the petrol cap for the presure to come out and put it back again. Now you are ready to start
