You need a thin flat-edged (standard) screw driver. Pry the switch toward the top (forward as you're looking down on it), exposing the tab on the bottom of the switch. Hold the tab in with the screwdriver and pull the switch out of the wood.

pull ashtray.... remove rear screws behind tray.. pull tray forward to expose two screws in woodgrain center console...place transmission in low gear to allow room to remove screws. once removed slide console cover toward truck without lifting, as there is a plastic dowel holding the other end in place. lift console... slide switch out the top and remove switch. also remove pax window adjustment switch... slide both wires thru cutout and reinstall console cover. you do this first so you dont break plastic down..reconnect switches and then push them down into place... finish the rest in reverse order.
