To remove mold from the soft top of a BMW Z3, first, gently vacuum the area to remove loose debris. Then, mix a solution of mild soap and water, or use a specialized convertible top cleaner, and apply it with a soft brush or cloth, scrubbing lightly to avoid damaging the fabric. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry completely in a shaded area to prevent further mold growth. If mold persists, consider using a diluted vinegar solution, but test it on a small, inconspicuous area first.

TJ's are probably the easiest, remove the soft top completely, ( unbuckle top from windshield rail, and remove bows from rollbar with torx wrench ) remove the door surrounds ( if you have solid doors, tork bolts from the top through the rollbar ) remove the rails at the back that hold your rear window, and slap that hard top on there, it buckles down in the front just like your soft top, and there are bolt holes where the top meets the sides to secure it to the vehicle, I do this several times a year, easy as pie.
