Begin by removing the inside door panel. Remove the linkage from the window winder. Remove the window winder retaining bolts. The window winder will come off.
Between the window winder and door card there should be a plastic ring about 8mm wide. Push this ring away from the end of the window winder. The windes should now slide off
To remove the window winder on a VW Lupo, first, ensure the window is fully closed. Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry off the plastic cover at the base of the winder handle. Once the cover is removed, you'll find a retaining clip or screw that secures the winder; remove it using the appropriate tool. Finally, gently pull the winder off the shaft to complete the removal.

Remove the screws from the bottom of the trim and the one from inside the handle. The trip is mostly clipped onto the door and also has some foam stuck around the side as a seal
The window winder is secured by a spring wire clip. Push the circular pad away from the winder handle and pull out the clip with a crochette hook or similar.

purchase a 'door trim removal tool' from any auto shop and jam it under the retainer under the winder. this will allow the winder to be slid off its nipple.
