A rear electric window that has jammed on a Renault Megane Dynamique might be termed off cable. This means that the mechanism for raising and lowering the window (the cable) might need to be replaced. To replace the cable, the door panel needs to be removed.
To fix the rear electric window in a Renault Megane, first, check the fuse related to the window mechanism and replace it if necessary. If the fuse is intact, inspect the window switch and the wiring for any damage or loose connections. If those components are functioning correctly, the issue may lie with the window motor or regulator, which may require replacement. For safety and proper handling, consider consulting a professional mechanic if you're unsure.
yes
If you lift and hold the window operation button for 10secs this will reset your window correctly.
Yes you can. About 90 minutes. Plenty of suppliers on e-bay. Some give instructions. Typically under £20.
to reset the windows , with the ignition on hold the 2 front window switch`s up together for about 5 seconds and that should reset them ,,
did you figure out how to? mine has the same problem
See Ebay member e-crofting for a selection of repair kits and how to guides. I've got the same problem and I'm ordering two kits. Hope this helps.
Looking at the fuses, you'll see two stacked vertically (25A), and another to the right hand side of those. Of the the two stacked, the top one is for the front passenger window and the bottom for the front driver's side. The window fuse to the right of these is for the rear windows (both of them I think)
If your Renault Scenic's electric window is stuck down, first check the fuse related to the window operation to see if it needs replacing. Next, inspect the window switch for any signs of damage or malfunction. If the fuse and switch are functioning, the issue may be with the window motor or regulator, which may require professional assistance to diagnose and repair. Additionally, you can try gently tapping the door panel while operating the switch to see if it helps the window move.
To change a rear window on a Renault Megane, first, ensure you have the correct replacement glass. Remove any trim or covers around the window, using a trim removal tool if necessary. Carefully detach the old window by cutting through the adhesive with a glass cutter or utility knife. Once removed, clean the surface, apply new adhesive, and install the new window, securing it in place and allowing it to cure as per the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
