Remove the steering column cover by unscrewing the necessary screws, then carefully detach the wiper lever from the steering column. Inspect the lever and its wiring for any visible damage, and replace any faulty components. Reassemble the column and reconnect the battery, testing the wiper function before fully securing everything.
In a 1992 Mercedes 190E, the cruise control system is typically activated by a lever located on the steering column. To turn on the cruise control, you usually need to push the lever away from you or pull it towards you, depending on the specific configuration. Once engaged, you can set the desired speed using the same lever. Always refer to the vehicle's owner’s manual for precise instructions.
