To replace the thermostat in a Skoda Felicia, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Drain the coolant from the radiator, then remove the hoses connected to the thermostat housing. Unscrew the thermostat housing, replace the old thermostat with the new one (ensuring the gasket is properly seated), reassemble the housing and hoses, refill the coolant, and finally reconnect the battery. Always check for leaks after completing the installation.
