On the dash board above the gas gauge what does a (!) light coming on mean on a range rover 2006 sport?
I have a 2006 RR Supercharged. I changed the oil myself but the Service Message continued to appear on the dash. I read a few web sites that spoke about holding the trip button down, turning the key, etc.. This did not work for me. I called my Service Advisor at Rover and he said that it can be done on other years but not the '06. I drove down to the Rover dealer and they reset the system free of charge. Took 10 minutes.

It shows the calculated miles (or km) that you can drive before you need to refuel. i.e. how many miles you have left in the tank.
Put the key in. Turn it to position two.(where all the dash board lights come on, dont start the car) Leave the key in that position for 45 seconds. The fault should clear provided your sensor circuits are complete.
It sounds like the vechile is in low range, shift back to high range. or possibly a fault with the air suspension system. maybe you have locked the air suspension in crawl mode
It should be to the right of your climate control in the dash. The panel will have a sticker on the front telling you how to shift from 4x4 hi to 4x4 low. Hope this helps
To replace the dash bulbs on a 2000 Range Rover P38, first, disconnect the vehicle's battery to ensure safety. Remove the dashboard trim by unscrewing the necessary fasteners and gently prying it away. Once exposed, locate the bulb holders behind the instrument cluster, twist them counterclockwise to remove, and replace the old bulbs with new ones. Reassemble the dashboard trim and reconnect the battery to finish.
