The emission control system light in an Audi A3 2.0 FSI may turn on due to various issues, such as a faulty oxygen sensor, a malfunctioning catalytic converter, or a leak in the exhaust system. It could also indicate problems with the engine's fuel system or issues with the onboard diagnostics. Immediate attention is recommended, as ignoring the light could lead to decreased performance or increased emissions. A diagnostic scan can help identify the specific issue triggering the warning.
use a vag com or just unplug and replug

To reset the time and date display in a 2006 Audi A8, first, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Then, navigate to the "Time/Date" settings in the MMI (Multi Media Interface) system. by going to an AutoZone store and having them reset it with their handheld computer system that plugs directly into the information port under the dashboard on the drivers side
You will need to take the 2006 Audi A6 to a mechanic to have the service light properly reset. In some cases, a person can undo the battery to reset the light.
Best bet is to go to an Audi/VW dealership, and have them reset the radio by using a VAGCOM. The other option would be to purchase a VAGCOM yourself (http://www.ross-tech.com/). Of course if you have the actual reset code, you can enter it in manually. I can't tell you specifically how to enter it on the Audi radio, since I have an Audi Navigation system, and the controls are different. But it should be a combination of using Volume and Seek (or other keys the would allow for scrolling) to enter in the code.
maybe the plug under your seat has been unplugged, you will have to check the connections and then get the computer system reset using vagcom by an Audi dealership to see if that has resolved the problem
I Think its a main dealer job only as they use a guided function with the Audi VAS computer to reset the service display
its in the owners manual
