Could be a burnt bulb. Could be a short in the wiring. Could be a bad switch.
All you need to do is pop the trunk open, and you'll see a screw near the reverse light. Un-screw that, and then gently pull the taillight out, and you will see th wiring harness, and from there, it's a snap!
If the blinkers work then your taillight wiring is bad.
