Well on my 1991 Mercedes Benz 190e the fuel release door is automatic. All you have to do is make sure all the doors are unlocked with the master key and then, go to the fuel door and lightly press in on the left side of the fuel door and pull from the right and it should pop open.
To open the fuel door on a 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL, locate the fuel door release lever inside the car, typically found on the driver’s side near the floor or on the dashboard. If you can't unlock the doors of your Mercedes S430, you can still open the fuel door by using the manual release. Look for a small access panel near the fuel door; it may require a flathead screwdriver to gently pry it open. Once accessed, you should find a lever or cable that can be pulled to release the fuel door. If this method doesn't work, consider checking the owner's manual for specific instructions or contacting a dealer for assistance.

open your fuel filler cap door and Mercedes tire pressure recommendations are on a sticker on the fuel door. i personally go 2-4 more psi then recommended.
