For my 2002, it is going to be around $500.00. $238 for parts and 4 hours labor at $60. I am electing to not have it done right now because I was told that it was mainly for cleaning emissions and I don't have the dough!! I have a policy to cover major repairs that is still in effect and I was told this is not major, mainly an aggravation (noise, check engine light)
The One Way Check Valve in the secondary air injection system of a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue is typically located near the air pump, often mounted on or near the engine. It allows air to flow into the exhaust system during cold starts while preventing backflow into the air injection system. For precise location, it’s advisable to consult the vehicle’s service manual or a repair guide, as positions can vary slightly by engine configuration.
