Wiper arms cannot be repaired, only replaced. The arm should come off by removing the nut at the bottom of the arm and the washer sprayer hose
Replace the wiper motor assembly. Fairly easy on these-- take off the wiper arms, and the motor is under the hood above the motor. You may need a mirror to see it. Three bolts and the electrical connections later, you can trade it in with some money for a reman part. Better yet remove the cover, there will be a metal tab that is bent. it is the park tab. bend it back towards the stop lever on wiper arm crank.

Pull the arm away from the windshield and rotate the wiper slightly and it will unlock pull away from the wiper arm. No special tools required. Someone can minimize the chances of a wiper arm being detached by making sure some water is sprinkled on the windshield while operating the wipers. The water provides some lubrication for the wipers to move easily.
I don't have prints, but you take off the wiper arms and the vent cover across the truck below the windshield and there is the wiper assembly. The vent cover is held on with screws along the front edge in the engine compartment. If it is just the arm where it mounts on the assembly, you could always use some JB weld or epoxy and make it permanent.
