I just received a new key today for a 1999 C280. it's the shiny metal chromey one that replaces the all black plastic one. The chromey is the only replacement from M.B. now, but works just the same and looks good too. Your key probably falls into this category, providing you use the remote transponder fob type and you don't have "keyless-go" ignition. The Chicago dealer near me cost $185. For the remote $6.50 for the key blade and 19.16 for the high as a kite 10% sales tax. And they want to raise the Illinois income tax too! That's if you get no discount. Yes they changed the length of the blade so the old one wont fit. You do need to get the new blade. This news is the same for all who need keys from 1998 on up. Only the price may be different.
Brill.

On a 2001 Mercedes-Benz CLK 320, the cabin air filter is located behind the glove compartment. To access it, you need to open the glove box, remove any contents, and then detach the stops on the sides to allow it to drop down. Once lowered, you can find the filter cover, which can be removed to replace the cabin filter.
The lug pattern for a 2001 Mercedes-Benz CLK 320 is 5 bolts with a spacing of 112 mm. The bolt size is M12 x 1.5, and the offset typically ranges from 35 to 45 mm, depending on the specific wheel design.
