How to change air filter in a Mercedes Benz ml350 2006?

You have 2 air filters on your 06 ML350. Take the front part of the top shroud (On top of the engine) off by lifting it. It pops off. Then you have to take off the plastic air intakes on each side of the remaining shroud. At the back of the shroud is a clip. Push back to release. Then carefully remove the rear part of the shroud. Your filters are located inside this part of the shroud. You will need star wrenches to remove the plastic covers on the backside of the shroud. There are 4 screws on each side. Once removed, you will see your filters. Make sure when replacing them you "seat" them correctly to get a tight fit. When replacing the rear part of the shroud, make sure you have the round rubber fitting on the carb intake seated correctly. Pull the back clip on, reattached the plastic air intake tubes and reseat the fron part of the shroud. You are done.
