If the indicator relay is buzzing when the ignition is off, it may indicate a short circuit or a faulty relay. This can cause the relay to remain energized even without power from the ignition. It's advisable to check the wiring connections and the relay itself for any signs of damage or malfunction. If necessary, replace the relay to resolve the issue.
If the indicator lights on a 1993 Volvo 240 remain on when the ignition is off, it may be due to a faulty ignition switch or a short circuit in the wiring. Another possibility is a malfunctioning relay or a stuck switch that fails to turn off the lights. It's advisable to check the vehicle's electrical system for any issues or shorts that could cause this problem. If the issue persists, consulting a professional mechanic would be beneficial.

I have a 2004 Odyssey. Here's what the manual has to say about the green key indicator on the instrument panel: "Immobilizer System Indicator. This indicator comes on when you turn the ignition switch to ON. It will then go off if you have inserted a properly-coded ignition key. If it is not a properly-coded key, the indicator will blink and the engine will not start. This indicator also blinks several times when you turn the ignition switch from ON to ACCESSORY or LOCK." Hope this helps!
