If you have a 4.9 liter engine it is in the oil pan. 4.6 liter engine it is located on the front of the block , under the timing cover.
I know on the 4.0 liter V6 the engine oil filter is on the passenger side of the engine and on the 3.0 liter V6 engine it is on the drivers side of the engine
