One way is to disconnect your remote start and see if the battery dies over the next few days. If not then reconnect the remote start and see if it then dies....if so then yep its your problem.

disconnect the battery and reconnect. when the battery is reconnected within 20 secinds turn the ignition on and press the immobiliser button on the remote device ( the unlock button on the key ). that should reprogramme the receiver and the transmmitter.
