Should be on the centre brace behind the grill, under the bonnet catch. Remove the grill.
The out side temp sensor is located in front and below the air conditioner condencer. It will have a two wire connector.
No
flush the radiator

intake air temp (IAT) sensor is loacted on the right side of the air cleaner box intake air temp (IAT) sensor is loacted on the right side of the air cleaner box
You will need to adjust the temp gauge from cold to warm. Its located right on the middle vent(where the air blows out).
Yes you can. A dry standpipe system has an air pressure and a water gauge the air pressure gauge is normally found on the top or the (pressure side) the water gauge is normally located on the bottom under the air pressure gauge or the (supply side)

The outside air temperature sensor on a vehicle, such as a Frontera, is typically located near the front grille or bumper area, often behind the grille or in a position that allows it to receive accurate readings of the ambient air. It may be mounted on the vehicle's body or attached to the radiator support. This placement ensures that the sensor is exposed to outside air flow for precise temperature measurement.
Your temp. sensor might be faulty, or the wiring for the gauge, but 9 out of 10 times this indicates air in the cooling system. Check the overflow tank. When there is HOT coolant on the sensor, it pops up. When air hits the sensor, it dives down.
One side has a faulty temp blend door actuator.
that Buick has two sensors for temp. One for the computer and one for the temp gauge. The computer temp sensor is in front of the thermostat housing, the temp gauge sensor is behind the thermostat housing. They are both pretty cheap to buy. The gauge sensor is sort of a bear to get off, unless you take just a few more things off that are in you way to ease access. Be sure to bleed the cooling system of air after replacing it / those sensors. Chances are if someone as monkeyed around with things, the system may need to have the air bled anyway.
