i have owned a few 190e's and i will not buy any other car unless its another 190e. all these little inequities are miniscule in comparison to how long these cars last, the highest clock on my odm of an 89 190e was 637k with the 2.3l, then it was written off when i got hit by a drunk! it ran like a top and was rock solid very little rust. my current one has 248k and is like new condition, literally. the key is to keep up the maintenance and these cars will still do 200 kph with half a million on the clock, with reasonable efficiency and performance. too bad they don't make them like this anymore. i blame Chrysler...
