Could be a multitude of things. Possible brakes are telling you its time to change them (on the pads there is a wear bar sensor rubbing the rotor for a squeeling noise), A rubbing noise is a possible bearing. Pulley noise can be an indication of a component needing replacement. Pulleys contain wheel bearings which can and will wear out increasing noise. However, noise around the pulley can also mean other rotational components have a problem. Such conditions cannot be guessed and need professional-experienced mechanical diagnosis.
Diagnostic port is either under steering wheel or near the engine antifreeze line (under the hood).
It's under the engine on the passenger side right down near the wheel
