You would use your right foot on the accelorater and brake. Your left foot on the clutch. If the handbrake was in the middle of the car you would use your left hand and the same with the gear lever. If the handbrake was on the door side of the driiver you would use your right hand. You would use the same foot in a British car, as you would in an American, Japanese, or any other type of car, which is of course your right foot.
Yes, in British cars, the pedals are reversed compared to cars in other countries. The accelerator pedal is on the right, and the brake pedal is on the left.
British car pedals are typically arranged with the accelerator on the right, brake in the middle, and clutch on the left. In contrast, pedals in cars from other countries may have different arrangements, such as the accelerator on the right and brake on the left. Additionally, some countries may not have a clutch pedal due to the prevalence of automatic transmissions.
Right
Yes, they have a brake and accelerator pedal but no clutch pedal
Yes, the pedals in European cars are generally the same as in cars from other regions, with the accelerator, brake, and clutch pedals being standard features in most vehicles worldwide.
In the Far East, Japan drives left of the road and the steering wheel is on the right side. The pedals remain the same location though, clutch left - brake center - accelerator right. I just had a eerie time getting the hang of column shifting on the left side.
same as an American car clutch brake accelerator
They have spoken to begin fixing right away, to ensure safety.
In a car with manual gearbox, the brake pedal is usually in the middle. In my first car, the accelerator was in the middle, which caused a few 'interesting' moments! In American cars with automatic transmission, the brake is on the left and the accelerator on the right. On a standard transmission (stick-shift), the brake is in the middle, with the clutch on the left and accelerator on the right.
normally the right foot however if you can and with practice you can improve your driving skillls and use the advanced sports car style system of right foot accelerator and left foot braking ( assuming that you mean an automatic ) if the car has a clutch then right foor for accellerator and brake and left for clutch.
I would have thought that this was an easy question for a person who has driven a British car. The driver sits on the right hand side. All I want to know is what order are the pedals in the British cars. Are they opposite to American made vehicles?
No but they are capable of recording lots of information. Speed, brake & accelerator position, etc.
