The windshield fluid level indicator light on a 2001 Audi TT may stay on even when the reservoir is full due to a malfunctioning float sensor or a faulty wiring connection. The float sensor, which detects the fluid level, might be stuck or damaged, preventing it from signaling that the tank is full. Additionally, corroded or loose electrical connections could disrupt the signal to the dashboard indicator. Checking and replacing the sensor or repairing the wiring may resolve the issue.
If the windshield washer indicator stays on in an Acura MDX, it typically indicates that the washer fluid reservoir is low or empty. Check the fluid level and refill it if necessary. If the fluid level is adequate and the indicator remains illuminated, there may be a malfunction with the sensor or wiring, which could require further diagnosis by a professional.
