Just put unleaded regular in it. VW had seen the writing on the wall when catalytic converters first came out and changed to valve seats suitable for unleaded fuel. No "lead substitute" is necessary.

The best thing do with that is not to do it yourself. Call the gas company and they will come out and hook up the gas line for you for no charge.
My 1970 ford f100 Ranger is a 360 three on the column and it's stock gas tank holds 20 gal. but there are other gas tanks you can put on it that are larger or smaller. Check out LMC truck company, that's where I get all my parts

The problem with the 24" rims is they're heavy, if you put air shocks on your car it will and I assure you, you will have an unpleasant ride. But if you are going to put gas, it will compensate for the offset of the rims but make sure you will put the best gas shocks and not the cheap ones because it will wear out easily obviously because of the weight compensation and the off set
