6.11 stefan bellof Porsche 956 1984
The Fastest EVER lap by any vehicle is 6:11.13 by the Porsche 956 on 28 May 1983. But that was a race car doing a qualifying run. In the production world some say its the Radical SR8 with a time of 6:55 if you consider it a production car. It is street legal but the car is a little ridiculous. I say it is the 2009 Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR, it ran a 7:21.1 on 18 August 2008. All of these times were done on the 20,832 m setup of the track. -AGL

The fastest manned space vehicle of all time, and the fastest manned vehicle of any kind ever, was Apollo 10. As the mission command module returned to earth from the moon, it achieved a top speed of 24,791 mph (39,897 km/h).
Diesel max Speed 500+ kmph world fastest car in the world in this time

Worlds fastest street legal production car is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. Top speed, 267. Zero to sixty in 2.4 seconds. It sells for a mere $2,400,000.00.
Seems there was and it was supposed to be the fastest production car of its time
It depends on what you mean by fastest and what you mean by production car. According to Wikipedia the SSC Ultimate Aero TT is the fastest production car in terms of top speed (257.44 mph). But with only 24 Ultimate Aeros produced it's a stretch calling it a "production car." Also, does a high top end really make a car the "fastest?" The new 2010 Dodge Viper ACR recently set the fastest recorded production car lap time ever at the grueling Nurburgring, beating out the previous record set by the Corvette ZR-1 by over 4 seconds and the Nissan GT-R by over 7 seconds. Since the Nurburgring is such a long and complicated track the fastest lap time requires rapid acceleration and braking, high top speed for the very long straightaway, and excellent handling characteristics for the many twists and turns. The Viper handles all of the above with ease, and by this measure, it is the undisputed king of production cars.
Nuremberg got its name from the river Pegnitz, which flows through the city. The old name for the city was Norenberc, which means "rocky hill" in Old High German. Over time, this name evolved into Nuremberg.
The driving distance from Frankfurt to Nuremberg is 142 road miles - about 2 hours driving time.
