The new Land Rover Discovery, utilizes many of the old discovery characteristics that Discovery fans have come to love but also complies of new technology, designed to make it safer and more appealing to the ever changing market. Land Rover developed a 'cross linked air suspension' system. What this does is allow the car to travel over coarser terrains by letting the suspension mimic the actions of a beam axle (i.e. One wheel rises the other drops). Also included is the new gearbox system which observes and adjusts power to each of the 4 wheels based upon the traction and weight each wheel receives in order to promote the best and safest power release.
