I would suspect the voltage regulator (vibrator) has failed. Replacement is easy from front of vehicle. If you want to do this yourself purchase the Haynes or Bentley manual for your car. Haynes and Bentley produce excellent manuals that others cannot compare to. Chiltons manuals are useless do not waste your $$$
To wire the fuel gauge for a 1972 Volkswagen Beetle, connect the gauge's positive terminal to the ignition switch's 12V power source. The negative terminal of the gauge should be grounded to the vehicle's body. Connect the fuel sender unit's wire to the gauge's sender terminal, and ensure that the sender is properly grounded as well. Always consult the wiring diagram specific to your model for accurate connections.
Don't know about the fuse, but the most likely cause for your fuel gauge to quit working is a bad sender unit. You are going to have to drop the tank and replace the whole fuel pump assembly (you can't buy the sender by itself) Don't know about the fuse, but the most likely cause for your fuel gauge to quit working is a bad sender unit. If the temperature gauge on your 1995 Blazer with a 4.3 engine stays on hot but the vehicle is not actually overheating, it could indicate a faulty temperature sender or gauge. The sender might be providing incorrect readings, or there could be a wiring issue affecting the gauge's performance. Additionally, a stuck thermostat could cause fluctuating temperatures, but if the engine runs fine, it's likely an issue with the gauge itself. It's advisable to have the sender and gauge tested to confirm the problem.
