First call your VW dealer and ask if there is a recall on this light. If there isn't one,light may have to be reset. This doesn't come cheap,dealer will charge about $100.00. I drove my car like this for awhile.

I have a Toyota as well and it means that it has been activated for the passenger. when the seat feels any weight in it, it will activate the airbag.
