Spark plugs are hidden under the plastic engine cover. You have to remove the ignition module as well which fits over the four spark plugs.
were is engine cover wot does it do
were are spark plugs in citroen saxo
underneath the engine cover there is a long black box about 2" wide held by three bolts the plugs are under that
To remove the spark plugs from a Citroën C3 Picasso, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Then, locate the spark plugs, usually found at the top of the engine; you may need to remove ignition coils or covers. Use a ratchet and the appropriate spark plug socket to carefully unscrew and remove the plugs, taking care not to damage the threads. Finally, inspect the plugs and the ignition system before replacing them or reinstalling.
Yes Citroen C3 has spark plugs and there are four. Spark plugs create a spark in order to ignite the fuel inside the engine's piston chamber. When ignited a pressure is built inside and this drives the piston and so the drive-shaft. For each chamber you need one spark plug and since there are 4, you need four plugs.
you need to go to a garage or you could end up frying the spark plugs or something and you would cause more damage to it
remove the coil pack first
From memory on my 1.8L Picasso Start off by disconnecting the battery following the special procedure The top of the engine is hidden by a plastic cover. The plastic cover is unfastened via three screws which need to be turned through 90 degrees. Then you have to detach the cables from and unscrew the coils (two bolts ?) This gives access to the spark plugs
two spark plugs are located to the right side of the engine and the other two spark plugs are located on the left side of the engine.
