BMW's phosphate-free antifreeze mixed 50:50 with DISTILLED water.
Any good grade of antifreeze mixed 50/50 with water
I would guess it would use BMW blue antifreeze. It has no phosphates.
For a 2016 BMW 528i, it's recommended to use BMW's own antifreeze, which is usually a blue-colored coolant known as BMW Antifreeze/Coolant (part number 82141467704). This coolant is specifically formulated for BMW vehicles and provides optimal protection against corrosion and freezing. Always ensure that the coolant is mixed with distilled water in the correct ratio, typically 50:50, unless otherwise specified in your owner's manual.
To the left of the engine - in the coolant tank
probably G12 (the pink stuff)
( YES ) you can buy premixed engine coolant ( antifreeze mixed with water ) or concentrated antifreeze
Mini (like BMW) uses a blue antifreeze
today's antifreeze is very much standardized. you go to any auto supplier buy a standard antifreeze and follow the instruction will give you a new fill of antifreeze
depends on what kind you buy , you can buy premixed (already has water added ) or just plane antifreeze ,then you need to mix it 50/50 with water
Mini Cooper models typically use a specific type of antifreeze known as coolant, which is usually a mixture of ethylene glycol and water. It's important to use the recommended coolant that meets BMW's specifications, such as BMW's own Antifreeze/Coolant or a compatible equivalent. Always check your owner's manual for the exact specifications and recommendations for your specific model year.
You dilute your antifreeze. If you buy prediluted 50/50 antifreeze, then you'll dilute it more than you're supposed to. If you buy straight 100% antifreeze, you're actually supposed to dilute it yourself by adding an equal amount of water to the antifreeze you put it. Your vehicle will be fine. Stop freaking out. Get a coolant flush.
