I bought a Haynes manual to answer this question and guess what? IT DOESN'T ANSWER IT!!!! If you ever find an answer for this, let me know too! fall-apart-Dave@hotmail.co.UK
Hi. There is a drain plug at the bottom of your manual transmission. And there is another plug with17 mm opening for an Allen wrench. It is located on the front side of your transmission. When you take the plug out, there should be the oil just level with the bottom of the hole. Haynes manuals used to be good.
Where do I add transmission fluid to a 1994 Ford explorer with a manual transmission?
A manual transmision doesnt use transmision fluid
You add the type of manual transmission fluid specified in your owner's manual - nothing else.
On the 2002 Mitsubishis Lancer , you add the transmission fluid down the dipstick tube. There is a specific fluid for manual transmissions , that information is in the manual under Fluid Capacities.
the plug to add and check the transmission fluid is on the side of the transmission and only accessable from under the vehicle.
Year?
Fill plug on the side of the transmission case.
There is a fluid check/fill plug located on the front of the transmission. Add fluid there until it is level with the bottom of the hole.?æ
I have a 1987 Toyota 4 runner...I need to replace my manual transmission fluid....and I needto replace it with Lucas Transmission fluid....how much do I need to buy?
is it an automatic, or manual shift?
Most have a fill plug on the side of the case.
You add the trans fluid where the dipstick is at, if it is a manual then you will have to go under the car where the transmission is find the check level plug on the transmission loosen the plug and stick your pinky in it if fluid touches the pinky then your good if not add the fluid there!
