can you answer the question i have a 1990 ford ranger with a Mazda manual transmission what fluid does it require
The Mazda b3000 pickup truck does not have hydraulic fluid. None of the vehicles components use hydraulic fluid in any way.
For a 1995 Mazda B3000 with a manual transmission, it is recommended to use a high-quality manual transmission fluid that meets the specifications of API GL-4. A common choice is 75W-90 gear oil, but it's best to consult the owner's manual or a service manual for specific recommendations. Ensure that the fluid you choose is compatible with the vehicle’s transmission system for optimal performance.
Transmission lube goes in on the side of the transmission under the car.
From Haynes Repair manual #36071, 1993-2005 Ford Ranger Pick-ups and 1994-2005 Mazda B-Series Pick-ups: Autotamatic transmission fluid: 1997 and later = MERCON V automatic transmission fluid Manual transmission lubricant type: MERCON automatic transmission fluid
On a standard tranny there is no reservoir. On an automatic tranny it is internal to the tranny. The fluid resides in the transmission pan.
Rcommended manual transmission lubricant type: MERCON automatic transmission fluid - Haynes Repair Manual #36071, 1994-2005 Mazda Pick-ups B2300, B2500, B3000, B4000.
look on the drivers side firewall
drain transmiision fluid from transmission, remove bottom oil pan from tranny, and you will see filter there is no pan on bottom of transmission do anyone have the answer?!
How to check the transmission fluid in a 1995 Mazda 626
good answer if its an auto, the fill plug is located on the tranny, there are 2 plugs, one on bottom, and one in the middle/top area. Use a funnel, and place it in the dipstick. Add the tranny fluid there. Where the dipstick is.
