The geniuses that brought the world the Nazis and concentration camps decided to make it accessible through the grill. There is a little plastic pull tab sticking out like a tongue that is prone to breaks. Enjoy!
The lever is on the Left hand side of the drivers footwell just beyond your left knee. The latch on the hood is on the right hand side as you look at the car front on.
The hood release is below(under the dash) on left side. The exterior hood release is some what tricky. It is a flat (pull) lever in the grill,(sometimes it requires a little pressure on the edge of the chrome top to get the lever to extend).
Pop the hood - it's a black box by the brake fluid tub.
You already have one. Under the hood on a placard & possibly in your owner's manual.
Under the hood, by the firewall on the driver's side in the upper corner.
ARE you wonderig wear the lever is that you pull, or where the hood latches?
first you pull the hood lever underneath the parking break release and then there are two levers on both sides of the grille on the drivers side, the lever is next to the left side of the headlights and on the passenger side, its on the right side of the headlights i hope this helps
On a 2001 Mercedes E430, the hood release lever is located inside the vehicle, on the driver's side, near the lower left corner of the dashboard. It is typically a small, black lever with a picture of a car hood on it. Pulling this lever will release the hood latch, allowing you to open the hood. After releasing it, you may need to lift the hood slightly and locate the safety catch to fully open it.
Its under the hood by the drivers side hood hinge.
Pull the lever on the inside of the car, to the left of your left knee, then reach in under the badge on the fron of the hood and pull the lever.
under the hood on the right-hand-side looking at the car from the front. On the drivers side close to the windscreen. It is covered by a transparent plastic top next to the fuel pump relay box
When you open the Drivers side door, look down and you will see a lever with the picture of a car with its hood up. Once you pull the lever the hood will slightly pop up, after that go to the front of the car and between the hood and the grille there will be a lever. Pull that lever and pull the hood up once the lever is as high as it can go. Now that your hood is open, put the hood support rod into its hole. Now you have an open hood.
