In K9K engine series: If you mean the tdc in order to lock crankshaft to replace timing belt, in front of the engine near the flywheel zone right below the oil pressure valve there is a small bolt (usually with a torx head "star").
Removing that bolt and inserting a special locking tool through that hole ,will lock crankshaft right on the tdc.
No he means the TDC Sensor which is on top of the bell housing it is held in place on a banana shaped plate which is bolted to the engine with 2 10mm bolts.
The coolant temperature sensor in a Renault Megane Scenic is located on the right hand side of the engine as you are looking at it. It is located just above the TDC sensor.

The TDC (Top Dead Center) sensor on a 2011 Renault Megane is typically located near the engine block, often on the timing cover or near the crankshaft pulley. It helps determine the position of the crankshaft for optimal engine timing. For precise location, it's best to refer to the vehicle's service manual or consult a professional mechanic, as the exact position can vary based on the engine type.
To replace the TDC (Top Dead Center) sensor on a Renault Megane, first disconnect the battery to ensure safety. Locate the TDC sensor, typically found near the crankshaft pulley or on the engine block. Remove any necessary components for access, then disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew the sensor. Install the new sensor by reversing the steps, ensuring it's properly secured, and reconnect the battery.

To clean the TDC (Turbo Diesel Common rail) of a Renault Scenic 1600 auto, start by disconnecting the battery and removing any necessary engine covers for access. Use a suitable cleaner, such as a specialized diesel injector cleaner, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for application. It's essential to clean the intake manifold and EGR valve as well, using appropriate cleaning products and tools to prevent damage. After cleaning, reassemble all components, reconnect the battery, and ensure the engine runs smoothly before finishing.
For a Renault Megane 2.0 8-valve engine, the timing marks are typically located on the crankshaft pulley, camshaft, and sometimes an auxiliary belt cover. When aligning the timing marks, the crankshaft should be positioned at TDC (top dead center) for cylinder one, with the camshaft marks aligned accordingly. It’s crucial to ensure that the timing belt is installed correctly to maintain proper engine synchronization and avoid potential damage. Always refer to the specific service manual for your vehicle to verify the exact positioning and procedures.
