On a 2003 Mercedes CLK 500, the oil dipstick is located on the driver's side of the engine bay. You can find it near the rear of the engine, typically towards the top, with a yellow or orange handle for easier identification. To check the oil level, simply pull the dipstick out, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then pull it out again to read the level.

The MB 320 engine has NO dipstick! Oil level is monitored and shown on the digital portion of the dash instruments.
