The fuel door release switch on a 1995 Volvo 850 is typically located on the driver's side, near the floor, to the left of the driver's seat. It is a small lever or button, often marked with a fuel pump icon. To open the fuel door, simply pull the lever or press the button. If the fuel door does not open, it may be stuck or require manual assistance.
Fuel door release button/switch.
in the locking mechanism
on my 1994 it's on the left hand side of the drivers seat next to the bottom of the door jam!
passenger side door sill. It is a key switch.
does it have a door ajar switch. if it does, may be stuck or faulty. there is no door jar switch
I suspect a faulty door jamb switch; remove yours and test for power at the switch. Start with the drivers door. This could also be a faulty acc relay. with the driver's door open, press and release the door jamb switch, do you hear a little click noise from under the dash? if not, you may need to replace your relay
If the switch is bad or out of adjustment, then the door ajar light will stay on. The overhead light will not go out, and the security alarm will not set.
On a 1995 Chevrolet Caprice your door panel and window switch are two different parts. To remove the door panel you remove the 8 screws along the outer edge of the door and then pull the panel off. to take the switch off there are 4 more screws on the back of the panel you remove
Because of your ugly visage. That's not very helpful, does this mean you are pretty ?
Drivers side knee high on the door side of dash
YES, Just the front doors will fit.
Probably a faulty on-off switch in the door jamb, or a misaligned door which fails to close the connection.
