how do you reset engine light on 1991 volvo 240
No , if the fuel pump inertia switch ( shut off switch ) is not reset when the button has popped up on the top of the switch then no electric power is flowing to the electric fuel pump ( assuming your Ford F-150 is new enough to have fuel injection instead of a carburetor )
To reset the automatic windows on a 2004 Volvo XC90, start by fully closing the window you want to reset. Press and hold the window switch in the up position for a few seconds after it has closed completely. Then, press and hold the switch in the down position for a few seconds. This should recalibrate the window's automatic function. If the issue persists, you may need to repeat the process for each window.
Ford may own Volvo but they have nothing to do with the design and building. There is no inertia switch on a Volvo. If it was a frontal collision you may have damage to the ECU's that are mounted at the right front of the car. As suggested below, see a dealer or qualified repair facility. Many Fords have an inertia switch that disables the fuel injection system in a crash. Since Ford owns Volvo, your car may have this also. In Fords they are mounted on the firewall under the dash. It's a small black box about 1" square with a red post sticking out of it. Push the red post in to reset it. If you can't find it, I suggest having the car towed to a dealer to reset it and also check for hidden damage to the car. Good luck.
