The fuel injector relay on a Volvo 940 is typically located in the engine compartment, specifically in the relay/fuse box near the driver's side of the vehicle. It may be labeled on the cover of the relay box for easy identification. If you're having trouble locating it, consulting the owner's manual can provide specific details and diagrams.
That is the Fuel Injector relay and not the Fuel Pump relay. it's located in the fuse box (engine compatment)you will have to remove a cover once it's opened it's the relay # 103(it's a green relay).

In the 1990 Volvo 740 Turbo, the fuel pump relay is typically located in the engine compartment, near the driver's side fender. It controls the operation of the fuel pump. The fuel injector relay, also known as the ignition relay, is usually found in the same relay box and supplies power to the fuel injectors. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for the exact relay identification and location.
inside the trunk
When you open the hood, the fuel pump relay switch is located on the driver side under the black fuse box towards the back of the car. The fuel injector relay is also located under there along with the A/C relay.
I believe all the relay's are located behind the fuse box in the engine compartment (back left section of engine area). You have to unscrew 4 screws and carefully pull of the whole fuse box to reveal the relays underneath.Hope this helps!B:The Fuel Injector Relay, however, also called MAIN relay, is located above the radiator, under the plastic (gray) cover. You'll have to lift that cover up and pull the relay out by sliding it off. It's color gray and part # is W0133-1627788 (Kaehler)
