You can find the 1985 VW heater core behind the drivers side kick plate. You will need to remove the kick plate in order to access the heater core.
No
The price for a VW Golf MK2 city STROMer was at $34,000. (U.S.) up until its production was ceased in 1985. The VW Golf MK2 had a range of about 31 miles.
its a pain. you have to take out the whole dash t do it. and it took me 8 hours to get mine done
A Volkswagen jetta/golf produced between 1985-1992
There is not a heater valve in a WV Passat. Instead, coolant moves through the heater core at all times.
About 90 dollars if you do it yourself.
The Golf wasn't made until 1985. 1984 was the last year of the Rabbit.
Apparently not. He is asking about the heater core. It is a 10 hour job involving removing the dash. I think they built the car around the heater core. ugh.
Remove the water supply hoses from your heater core. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new heater core.
if you told us what year and engine, maybe we could help you. If it's an older model with a heater core, check to make sure the hoses are not blocked and the cable operating the heater valve is still good. Maybe do a coolant flush.
Yes, it is a Golf but VW stopped calling it the "VW Golf... GTI". Just as VW didn't call the R32 a Golf (although it is based on the VW Golf and has the same shape and many common components).
If that car has a temp blend door actuator, it could be faulty.
