On a 2003 Land Rover Freelander, the oil dipstick is located towards the front of the engine, near the intake manifold. It typically has a yellow or orange handle for easy identification. To check the oil level, simply pull the dipstick out, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then pull it out again to check the oil level.
Land Rover Freelander was created in 1997.

I was looking at the Gates website ( they make timing belts etcetera ) and it shows for the 2.5 liter V6 engine in a 2003 Land Rover Freelander : Cam belt , front Cam belt , rear , 2 required ( so I'm confused , either it takes 2 timing belts or 3 timing belts )
