Its attached to the washer bottle in the boot, like the front washer pump. The pumps are the same
The washer pump is on the fluid tank under the air filter
the same reservoir as front
The pump for the rear window is on the side of the reservoir and the pump for the windshield is on the front of the reservoir
In a VW Polo, the rear window washer is typically activated using the same stalk that controls the front windshield wipers. You can usually find the rear washer function by pulling the stalk towards you or pushing it away, depending on the model year. The washer fluid is stored in the same reservoir as the front washer fluid, which is usually located under the hood. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific details related to your model.
Please be more specific with your problem. Is the sprayhead stopped up with sediment? Does the wiper not work? What? There is no washer pump in the rear window. It is nothing more than a spray head that is connected by tubing to the same underhood washer pump that supplies the front windshield sprayers.
The rear window washer is fed from the front window washer tank in the engine compartment
On the fluid reserve tank under air filter.
To service the rear window washer system on a 2004 Cadillac SRX, first check the washer fluid reservoir to ensure it has fluid. If the fluid is full, inspect the rear washer nozzle for clogs and the tubing for any leaks. If the system is still not functioning, test the washer pump by listening for it when the rear washer is activated; if there's no sound, the pump may need replacement. Additionally, check the fuse associated with the rear washer system, as a blown fuse could prevent operation.
R/window wiper and washer are two separate things. Washer is simply a pump that squirts fluid onto window. First, have you checked the washer fluid level? How about the fuse? When you push the washer button can you hear the pump running? If not, possible bad pump, fuse or button. If so, maybe the pump is clogged or fluid delivery tube is plugged or disconnected. Hope that helps.
The windshield washer pump is attached to the washer fluid reservoir. You will find 2 pumps attached to the reservoir. The other pump feeds the rear window. The reservoir can be unbolted and removed from the engine compartment.
Where you add washer fluid in the back bottle, the bottle has the pump on the bottom of it. You will have to take the inside trim panel off to take the bottle out.
