what year is it? usually its the pressure switch located under the front undertray the one with pop rivets holding it in near to compressor unscrew it its on a schrader valve so no gas will come out, then go and get ripped off at Renault £107.00 for a new one! have the air con re gassed and cleaned properly then take your car in to Renault and ask them to re prorgram the ecu as this controls the air con not a relay, however by the battery and and tucked away is a fuse board you can see half a dozen or so large fuses ignore these and you will see a black sealed box above this contains more fuses its fuse number 2 if its blown but very much doubt it.......Read on if your gas gets low or pressure switch fails very very common on scenics it will send a signal to ecu telling it to stop the pump from working and the only way to get it turned on is by Renault and they charge £49 for the privelige
it is relay number 4 in the fuse box under the hood
It is on the top righthand side at the back of the engine compartment.
The gas seeps out slowly but you should have it refilled every couple of years
To regas the air conditioning on a Renault Scenic 1.9 DTI, first ensure the engine is off and then locate the low-pressure service port, typically found on the larger diameter aluminum pipe. Attach a refrigerant recharge kit to the port, following the kit's instructions and ensuring you have the correct type and amount of refrigerant (usually R134a). Start the engine and turn on the AC to the maximum setting, then slowly add refrigerant until the system is adequately filled. Monitor the pressure gauge, and check for any leaks before finishing the process.
At the Renault Parts website, you can purchase car parts such as brake disc screws, air con pressure sensors and bulb kits. For a full listing of parts available, visit the Renault Parts website.
To top up the air conditioning on a Renault Grand Scenic, locate the low-pressure service port, which is typically found on the larger diameter AC line. Use a compatible R134a refrigerant can and a pressure gauge. Attach the can to the service port, start the engine, turn on the AC to maximum, and gradually add refrigerant while monitoring the pressure to ensure it stays within the recommended range. Always consult the vehicle's manual for specific instructions and safety precautions.
open the rear boot and pull out the spare wheel, then use a metal detector to search for the fuses as they get lost in there ,
the most likely reason is that the gas pressure is too low.Get the gas topped up at an AC specialist.
To change the air conditioning relay on a Ford Fiesta, first, locate the fuse box, usually found under the dashboard or in the engine compartment. Identify the relay responsible for the air conditioning—this is often labeled in the fuse box cover. Using a relay puller or pliers, carefully remove the old relay and replace it with a new one, ensuring it is securely seated. Finally, test the air conditioning system to ensure it operates correctly.
It is underneath the drivers seat, a big blue button. If you press it the air con takes a while to stop but it works eventually :)
Air-Con? Do you mean Air Conditioning?
On a 2006 Ford Fiesta 1.4, the air conditioning relay is typically located in the engine compartment fuse box. This fuse box is usually situated near the battery, and the relay for the air conditioning can be identified in the diagram on the cover of the fuse box. Always consult the vehicle's manual for precise location details and diagrams.
