The starting motor, or starter motor, on a 2006 Renault Clio Expression is typically located near the engine, mounted on the transmission bell housing. To access it, you may need to lift the vehicle and remove any under-tray if present. It is connected to the battery and ignition system, so ensure the vehicle is off and the battery is disconnected before attempting any work on it.

I had this problem on my clio 172, it's just the battery in the key fob may need replacing if the engine will turn over but just not start? works everytime for me now!
I have a clio mark 2 and the fuse box is on the end of the dash on the passenger side. You have to open the door to see it. There is a plastic cover that you pull off and the fuse layout is on the reverse side of this. Hope this helps. Steggie
