I hope this answer will help . I have a 1995 Volvo 850 turbo , and the windshild wiper washer and reservoir are located on the left side of the engine near the battery . You should see the reservoir under the left side of the battery , with the appropriate hoses going to the sprayer under the windshield . You could also look for the small hose that sprays the windshield under the hood , and trace back to where it begins , in my case , on the left side of the battery.Good luck to you .
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1993 Mercury Villager windshield washer motor pump. Remove the windshield washer pump hoses. Remove the windshield washer pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new windshield washer motor pump.
It is connected to the washer tank.
Inside the reservoir.
The blower motor resistor is located under the hood, in the right hand cowl, behind the windshield washer bottle.............
you should check your electrical connection at the "pump" terminal if there's no power then trace that wire back and see where the problem is.
on my 1993 GXE the winsheild washer fluid reservoir is under the hood near the front of engine by antfreeze reservoir the fill tube is on the passenger side near the coolant reservoir. access to the "tub" itself and the washer motor/pump is from the passenger side front wheel well.
Fluid level low, washer pump motor bad or fuse blown, hoses leaking or disconnected, or the spray orifice is clogged.
If you look on the right side of your car, you'll see the windshield washer fluid, under a black metal bar. You have to take the black metal bar off, then you have to take the windshield washer fluid tub out.
Take it apart. Look for worn out brushes or a field magnet that has become unglued and is stuck to the rotor. If it is the magnet make sure you don't turn it arround. Or go to your local U-Pick and get another motor.
Very Carefully
It is on right side firewall under the hood behind the windshield washer bottle
