In the BMW E36, the fuse for the windscreen washer is typically located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. To access it, remove the cover of the fuse box and look for the diagram on the inside of the cover, which indicates the specific fuse for the windscreen washer. It's usually a small fuse, often rated between 10 to 20 amps, but check the owner's manual for the exact rating for your model. If the fuse is blown, replacing it should restore function to the washer system.
Sorry the question is not very clear. I have removed the glovebox of an BMW E36 R reg 323i tourer looking for fuse 47 which feeds the alarm as I need to reset it. With the glovebox removed I still cant find the fusebox which should be there. Am I overlooking the obvious or is it still hidden from view?
The BMW fuse box diagram can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box. The diagram can also be obtained from most BMW dealerships.
On a BMW M3 E36, fuse number 48 is located in the fuse box, which is situated in the engine compartment near the battery. To access it, you need to remove the cover of the fuse box. Fuse 48 typically relates to various electrical systems, so checking the owner's manual can provide specific information on its function. Always ensure the ignition is off before checking or replacing fuses.
