There are only two jacking points on a 944, one each side about half way down. look along the sill for a diamond shape indentation to locate them. Chances are though that unless cared for, the jacking points could be rusted and will not be structurally sound.
Its behind the rear wheel arch, gently jack up the car at the rear and the pump is located under the boot behind the wheel arch.
My 1983 Porsche 944 is 3,000 pounds
944 boxer? What is that?
The Porsche 944 was manufactured from 1982 to 1991. The Porsche sports car was designed to last into the 1990s but the plans were changed and the 944 S3 became the 968 instead.
The jacking points for the 944 are under the sill. if you look at the sill closely you will see a diamond shape pointing out where the jack should sit. be sure to use this point as you could buckle the floor or worse, put the jack right through the floor! it's the one point if you want the front or rear wheels jacked up.
No
30,850 for the 944 s and slightly less for a stock 944
It's under the covering in the trunk on the left side.
Near the clutch housing, (under the car at the back of the engine).
the turbo was $29,500. the 944 was just under 20k for the 1981 model, so im guessing 22-24k for the base in '86
Although the Porsche 944 started selling in 1982, the Porsche 944 Turbo did not make it's international debut until March, 1985. Prior to it's international debut, a 944 turbo pre-production car competed in and won a 1984 24-Hour endurance race.
that kinda yellowish plastic tank with a cap on it ? under the hood on the drivers side?
